This round antiqued copper plated belt buckle started off with a rusty old washer found on the ground. The agate in the center has shades of creamy white and browns.
Around the washer I used Venetian watermelon chevron trade beads from the 20th century. Copper heishi trade beads from Ethiopa follow.
The border is made up of larger turquoise heishi beads. Love the natural coloring of these with the greens and blues.
This is a very cool buckle!
