For this buckle I used this great vintage steer brooch. I believe it is an oxidized sterling silver. I surrounded it with a cluster of white African trade beads. I used silver stars to form a circle around the beads. Next I used theses great natural turquoise slivers. Love the earthy greens, browns and blues of this type of turquoise. Carved bone beads form the border.
Each bead and stick of turquoise were individualy placed. Grouting this was an adventure, to say the least.
